York Place self-catering Apartments are set within a converted Georgian town house, in the city centre of Edinburgh offering modern apartments in Edinburgh city centre, 3 minutes' walk from the shopping district of Princes Street and 1 min walk from the St James Quarter.
Each apartment has multiple flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi.
There are private bath and shower rooms with soap, toilet rolls, and towels. The apartments also feature lounges, dining areas and kitchens with tea, coffee, sugar, soap, washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, and rubbish bags.
Each fully-equipped kitchen within York Place Apartments has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave. Towels and linen are included, and travel cots and high chairs can be requested.
Situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, Edinburgh Castle is just a 15-minute walk away, and Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station is just over 5 minutes' walk away. The nightlife district of George Street is just 10 minutes’ walk from the apartments.

There is no banning of hen parties, we have group apartments and do not allow the sole use of booking our apartments to host a party or event. We have house rules to enable all our guests to enjoy their stay.

Hi. Would we be able to book this for a hen party (late 20s to early 30s) as a place to stay as we would be out of the apartment for most of the stay

Lovely and spacious apartment.
Extremely spacious apartment with all the amenities including washing machine, dish washer and cook wear. Well located, about a 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile and even closer to the New Town where there are plenty of great food options.

Beautiful, huge, immaculate apartment in central Edinburgh, great for families or groups!
Beautiful, huge apartment in an excellent location. We stayed in an immaculate two-bedroom apartment at 24 York, and couldn't believe the size of the place and how clean it was. Fantastic kitchen with everything you could need. Really great for families - easy walking distance of so many of the main attractions. We used the offsite carpark option as we'd rented a car, which worked well too.
Only downside was the street noise. The main bedroom faces York Place itself, and aside from the tram noise (which shuts off at 11pm and is bearable), there is a large metal plate in the road directly outside that makes quite a loud noise each time a vehicle drives over it. This is obviously an urban area, so some noise is to be expected (we regularly stay in large cities), but this did interrupt sleep. Tip: bring earplugs!
